LONG . . . think long term
The "Hemline Theory" is that as the market goes up so do hem lines but as the market goes down, hem lines do too. We see lots of long skirts and short hems seem to be vanishing. Although, not a stock market prediction here, we do take the "long view" on skirt lengths for sure.
If you are in the market for a new coat, please look at a long one. Not floor length - but certainly several inches below your knees. Long coats are gracing the store racks this Fall and look lovely.
Skirt hems are dropping, pant legs are flaring and shoes are getting chunky. All of this looks amazing with a long coat. Here are some we think will look good for many seasons to come:
